Many times people will look at you and think they are better than you whether in character, finances or spiritually. You may be small and not confrontational. People may lie on you, twist the truth, make you seem like nothing and drown your character. People may try to take advantage of you, make you feel miserable, laugh, pulling others into their condescending and/or bullying tactics. However, one thing have learned is to pray, be humble, do good to others, do what’s right, tell the truth when it’s hard, apologize when it is hard. Don’t be malicious or do things to purposely hurt people. No, no one is perfect, we all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.

So why all of this, because through all of these things, even times when I was not perfect, God has supplied every need. When people did me wrong, lied on me, took advantage, were cruel towards me, I didn’t have to lift a finger, I’d just pray, “Lord fix it” or “God I need your help” and within a few days and sometimes as soon as the next day, God begins working things out. Times I didn’t know how to fix a situation or to speak up for myself, God sent others to speak for me, times I didn’t know what to do, I felt to wait, and God began to move on peoples heart to assist me. Times I was pushed to the back, even in singing, and then, finally given the chance to sing God revealed His glory. Times when people hurt me or took advantage, God uplifted me, and fixed the situation at hand. You don’t have to be big, you could be quite small, you don’t have to be loud, you could talk softly, you don’t have to be a master theologian or master musician, you don’t have to be fake, just be yourself; Be humble, have faith, always do your best to do what’s right in the eyes of God, don’t be malicious, don’t be one who condemns and judges someone else instead of praying for them; if you sin and fall, get back up, repent with a sincere heart and don’t fall into the same trap again. God honors a repentant and humble heart. You don’t have to be the biggest and loudest in the room, but be the one who loves God sincerely with your whole heart. Have unshakable faith, stay in the word of God, keep your mind on Christ and watch God move in your favor. Even when things seem “bleak” and there is no way out, when everyone is against you….Have faith, trust God and watch Him move to fix and even fight your battles. He will even close the mouths of those who talk about you, open the eyes of those who can’t see and even make a way for you in what seems like a wilderness.

Trust God, have faith, allow God to fight your battle, be humble and continue to pray. That’s it.
