I came across this excerpt I wrote on April 2, 2021. Someone may still need to hear this today. If God is speaking to you, open your heart to hear and listen.

One thing I learned the hard way. So, I pray that ears are opened and hearts and minds are ready to receive. If this message is for you, please take the time and talk to God. Repent and get it right.

When you know the Lord, and you know the Word, then begin to live in sin, no matter the excuse, no matter the reason, that sin will begin to affect every area of your life. You may be untruthful, trying to keep it hidden. You will even blame others for what you have done. Those who don’t know the Lord and the Word of God like you do, will even back your sins and say it’s okay. But until you come to repentance, it will seem like the most important areas of your life will begin to crumble. Happiness will be for a moment. It may feel good for a while and it looks good for a while, but God is not pleased. Sin breaks your fellowship with God. When you have the call of God on your life, and you have no repentance, there is no protection in sin. As the old Saints used to say: “Your sins will eventually find you out.”

You may think no one knows, but God has revealed your sin to those around you who pray for you and know you the most. They will warn you, tell you to get it right, but if you don’t, you will find yourself losing a battle that you cannot fight.

1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
