Jesus came for the sinner to change lives that we all might be set free, give our lives to him, become better people, preach the gospel of Christ and one day live with Him in eternity. I think people get forget. We are all sinners saved by the grace and mercy of God. We daily repent because we are flesh, but we strive to have relationship with God, that He will change us from the inside out. Gods ways are not our ways, and so we see someone sin and although, they may be truly repentant we don’t forgive. As humans, we can’t see the heart, but God sees the heart. We must pray for that person because when a person comes to repentance, there is always temptation. Scripture says the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. The enemy does not want people to do right. So, that old buster will put things in your way to cause you to fall, so we must be strengthened in the Lord and instead of condemning others, we must pray for their ultimate salvation and deliverance. The Bible says the way to destruction (hell) is wide and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the way to eternal life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. Matthew 7:13

Pray not just for loved ones, friend’s and family. Pray for your enemy. Pray for the one you would have pointed fingers at. Pray for those that others may feel are an outcast. These are the difficult prayers because many don’t want to pray for them. No one wants to pray for someone they hate. But prayer changes things and God knows the heart. Prayer even changes the hate in your heart towards someone to have love and compassion for that same person . Yes, some may not want to change and the enemy has them so ensnared their soul is lost. But we must continue to pray ñ, for Heaven rejoices even for the one that makes it in to the Kingdom of Heaven (Luke 15:7). Like the Father of the prodigal son, “there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away or do not need to repent.” The love of God is more than we can ever imagine. Matthew 5:44-46 “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have?” So, let us love one another even when it is difficult. Pray for one another. You never know how your prayers affect a person, or how your life affects a person and especially your words, until one day you see a changed person.

Love, pray, show compassion
