As we are in this COVID, many have learned to sit alone in the quietness of their thoughts. Some may work through the night, although only required to work during the day. Maybe it is helping to keep the mind occupied. For myself, besides working from home, but I have been in constant prayer, looking at scriptures, and sometimes singing worship songs quietly inside. However, when I feel low, prayer is what has made me feel so much better, because prayer then leads into worship, sometimes peaceful commune with the Holy Spirit. So, if you’re at that point of feeling alone, just pray. Maybe sit, close your eyes and thank God for all the good things that have happened in your life. It’s not always the grandeur of your prayer, or how loud you are, or how many words you speak, but it’s the sincerity of the heart. For the Bible tells us that God looks at the heart. In this time of COVID, if you are alone, or feeling alone just pray in the quietness of your home. God is with you. He hears you and He loves you. Let the Holy Spirt comfort you and bring you peace. God wants to reveal His love for us. It is a difficult time for many. Everyone is not experiencing great family time. Many are experiencing sickness, death, depression, anxiety, loneliness, bitterness, anger and they don’t express how they feel to others. They seem happy, but they are not. So, if you are this person, begin to pray throughout the day. You will begin to feel a lot better. Just you and God.

Also remember, troubles come from the enemy. Scripture says:

John 10:10(KJV)
10 The thief (Satan) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walkers about, seeking whom he may destroy.

Revelations tells us that Satan accuses us before God day and night. He wants us to feel down depressed, sick, lonely and dying.

But God wants us healed. Free from affliction. He wants us to have His joy. He wants us at peace. He wants us to know He loves us. He wants us to know His mercy.

Matthew 11:28-29
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Psalm 84:11 (KJV)
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Psalm 86:5 (KJV)
5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

God wants goodness and joy for us, not death. The enemy will cause you to feel depressed, have you in misery, having people be cruel to you, talk mean to you, and you don’t understand why, he will cause problems in your relationships, and family and finally, try to take you out. Satan knows His time is short. But allow God to be your peace, your joy, and your sustenance. If you are feeling alone, pray. Pray with a humble and repentant heart. Talk to God about your trouble. Talk to God about His goodness…. or just talk to God when you don’t have anyone to talk to. That’s all.
